Apartment Property Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to oversee the daily operations of a residential apartment community. This role is responsible for supporting resident satisfaction, maintaining high standards of property performance, and coordinating property activities to ensure an exceptional living experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the apartment community.
- Build positive relationships with residents, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage leasing activities, including tours, applications, renewals, and move-in and move-out processes.
- Monitor occupancy goals, retention efforts, and overall property performance.
- Coordinate maintenance requests, vendor services, and property inspections to help ensure the community remains safe and well maintained.
- Support budgeting, expense tracking, rent collection, and related administrative tasks.
- Prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable housing regulations.
- Assist with marketing efforts and resident outreach to support leasing success and community engagement.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to complete projects and address operational needs.
- Respond to emergencies and property issues with sound judgment and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Experience in property management, residential leasing, or a related field.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of lease administration, resident relations, and basic property operations.
- Proficiency with property management software, Microsoft Office, or similar systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates and vendors.
- Understanding of fair housing practices and applicable landlord-tenant regulations.
- Professional demeanor, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- No live-in on-site.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience managing a multifamily or apartment community.
- Knowledge of budgeting, reporting, and rent roll management.
- Experience supporting maintenance coordination and vendor oversight.
- Industry certifications or training related to property management.
